Don't forget the crooked scientists that receive massive funding for promoting climate alarmism.

@derickviana9831 You think scientists are saints? They will lie for money just like anyone else.
3
@deathstroke8639 I'm guessing you've probably never heard of the East Anglia scandal where scientists were caught fudging climate data to fit their narrative.

@AbdulGoodLooks The US government and liberal universities fund the majority of research, not corporations. There have been plenty of studies that debunk the idea of man-made global warming, that's why they had to switch the catchphrase to 'Climate Change.' Of course the climate has always been changing and always will. No one is disputing that. Even using NOAA data, there is no correlation between CO2 and temperature. CO2 has been consistently rising, whereas temperature has gone up and down the last 200 years.

Patented food and terminator seeds. Yeah, I think I'll pass.

@deathstroke8639 I don't support anyone. I don't believe in voting. I examine the evidence and make my own conclusions. If you have a specific point of disagreement, then make it.

@AbdulGoodLooks Correlation is not causation, and there wasn't even any correlation for much of the 19th and 20th Century. CO2 went up while temperature went up and down. The ice core data shows us that CO2 lags temperature, not the other way around. As the oceans warm, more CO2 moves from the water to the atmosphere. The number of Category 3+ hurricanes has decreased ever since the 1930s. So you might want to check your basic facts before you embarrass yourself any further.

Tell it to Africans, Indians, Muslims and Latin Americans. Birth rates in the West have already been declining for decades.

@firstname405 Are you claiming that GMOs are not patented? Who do you think created GMOs? Capitalists that want to dominate the market at the expense of natural biodiversity and human health concerns. GMO Roundup Ready crops allow massive amounts of toxic pesticide to be sprayed on our food. What's wrong with you?
2
@chinglamyung Glyphosate is proven to cause cancer. We don't want toxic chemicals on our food, even if they are less toxic than chemicals that were used in the past. We don't want artificial biodiversity, we want natural diversity.

What could possibly go wrong? Oh right... mass starvation everywhere Communism has been tried.

All plant based agriculture depends on atmospheric CO2. Our level is dangerously low at just .04%. If we can increase our emissions by tenfold, that would be a great start.

@AbdulGoodLooks National hurricane center data shows a decrease in category 3+ storms since the 1930s. https://www.drroyspencer.com/wp-content/uploads/Major-landfalling-US-hurricanes-by-decade-2.jpg Global temperatures fell between 1940 and 1980. That is not an insignificant period of time. Some of the hottest years on record were in the 1930s. Everything you're describing about the ice age is pure conjecture. You have no idea what caused the ice age to begin or end. All we know is that CO2 levels have been much higher and much lower in the past, which humans had nothing to do with. Do you even know how microscopic the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is? Over 200 years, we're talking about an increase from .03 to .04%. There is no experiment that shows such a small increase could have any effect on the temperature of a greenhouse, let alone the Earth. But of course the Earth is not a greenhouse, and we constantly lose atmosphere to space, so the greenhouse analogy is ridiculous. All life on Earth depends on that tiny .04% CO2 for survival. If anything, we should be dramatically increasing our emissions.

Plant-based agriculture is far more destructive than grass-fed beef, which requires no fertilizer, pesticides, irrigation or plowing.

No one is stopping you. I have plenty of bugs I'd be happy to send you. Bon appetit.
1
Plant based agriculture is far more destructive than just eating cows that graze on grass which doesn't require any fertilizer, pesticides, or plowing.

@HiyokoKusanagilovemuffin Do you know what percentage of the atmosphere is methane? .00017% You are delusional if you think that has any effect on the temperature of the planet.
1
@HiyokoKusanagilovemuffin Water is free and abundant in most places. I've heard it even falls from the sky sometimes. Plant based agriculture requires much more water and all kinds of toxic chemicals.

The historic Eskimo diet includes no fruit or vegetables and they had no cancer or heart disease. Phytotoxins and vegetable oils are destroying our health.
1
@anacaeiro1049 Some vegans argue that Eskimos (Inuit) weren't that healthy, but the fact they exist at all, proves that we don't need fruits and vegetables to survive. There are no strictly vegan cultures though. Long term survival seems to require some animal protein.
1
@enneh07 That's because those plants are full of phytotoxins. That's a reason to avoid them, not to transfer their toxins into other plants.
