  2. Reminds me of the Anti-Vanilla slurs. No one has ever been offended to be called a hard R "Cracker," just incredibly confused how it's supposed to be a biting insult.

  3. It's the same reason the anti-Vanilla slurs never really took off. The target just looks on in befuddled amusement that "Cracker" with a hard R is supposed to be a deeply biting insult.
