Drach is only releasing 9:32:16 of content this weekend. What a slacker. 😉

Q. When was the first Drydock? A. August 4, 2018, and was only 37:02 in length. 😉

The glaziers of Camden might see an economic benefit from USS New Jersey sending a salvo of dummy rounds out into the Atlantic.

Impromptu performance of the Nutcracker?

 @bradleyjames1340 - Non-Euclidian geometry is required to get around the square-cube law, as happens in the City of R'lyeh. 😉

Sadly real naval war colleges are likely a lot less fun than depicted in Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin!, and certainly will lack the ecchi and kawaii aspects.

 @PalleRasmussen - Yes.

 Free Speech - In Project HARP (not to be confused with Project HAARP), Gerald Bull spliced a couple of barrels together to make a 100-caliber 16-inch gun to shoot payloads into the exosphere. Barrel droop was controlled with an external structure around the lower part of the barrel with tension cables attached near the muzzle. The nearly 100-caliber Paris Gun of WW1 used an external suspension cable arrangement to counteract barrel droop.

A 200 to 250 yard spread at the Battle OFF Jutland distances is about 0.5 minute of angle (MOA) accuracy, or similar to what can be achieved with a high quality hunting rifle and ammunition off a bench rest (match grade rifles and ammunition with a machine rest can achieve <0.25 MOA).

 @BestAnswer12549 - Nice Mr. Putin has drone submarines that will create radioactive tsunamis, but they officially carry 2 MT warheads (3 orders of magnitude more powerful than the Crossroads Baker device) and unofficially up to 200 MT warheads.

 @BestAnswer12549 - Also threatening is putting ABM launchers right up to the Russian border that would allow a first strike by ICBMs, with the Russian ICBM response shot down in the initial phase. Russia's actions in new nuclear weapons delivery systems have been to restore MAD, which kept the conflict between NATO and the Warsaw Pact to proxy conflicts for more than 4 decades.

That would be gross. 😉

 @stevenmajor9513 - The Royal Navy would have been fighting both the Union Navy and the Russian Navy, while the UK's ally at the time France would have been overrun in short order by combined Prussian and Russian land forces. The Russians sending fleets to protect New York and San Francisco from the British would be a Rum Ration topic for Drach sometime in the 2030s (backlog to clear).

 Free Speech - Maintaining an anti-droop system that is constantly exposed to salt spray would be a PITA.

@Rob The 100 chapter limit means that after deducting 2 for the intro and channel admin, Drach may only answer 98 naval questions per week. 😉

As for firing battleship main guns, the quality of movies and television could be improved by firing salvos of HE from USS Iowa at Hollywood (after evacuating people paid by the hour/scale wages). This could also be considered a patriotic act since the purpose of Hollywood is to stupefy and brainwash the populace.

Agree in advance to leave Hirohito as a figurehead leader of Japan (as was done anyhow to make managing the occupation of the country easier) and no nuclear weapons are necessary, but that would disappoint certain people.
