  2. My leather armor (Armor Class 7), er track motorcycle leathers, has strain hardening foam capped with ABS covering all the joints, and I have hit the ground a couple times much harder than a person could swing a weapon without too much damage.

  5. We made swords from hardwood trim using a plane and belt sander, along with plywood shields. These days parents would be arrested for letting their children do that.
