  1. Never mind the wait times, you got some pretty inexperienced Nurse Practitioners who are not adequate in small towns. The old folks are dying off pretty quickly, because of a lack of experience. Our town bypasses the local clinic, and heads straight to Kamloops Hospital, we did our own inquiry at the Seniors Centre, and our own Audit turned up a horror story, none of the Seniors use the local clinic anymore. The Government may as well shut it down and save money, we all go to Interior Health, at least you see a Doctor or a Specialist, get CT scans and. Rays without having to wait for weeks. The Kamloops Doctors have now figured out all the Seniors prefer emergency in Kamloops for immediate attention. Puts extra pressure on the Doctors but until the B.C. government fixes things it’s our best option for staying alive.
