Squadron number is not that important, what is absolutely needed right now is 5th generation fighter, one of the biggest threat India faces in technological gap with China and soon with Pakistan as they acquire Chinese 5th generation fighter, I hope US make exception for India and sell f35 b, although they deny it anyone using s400, with Hal amca remaining mystery for everyone, it is absolute must India procure 2-3 squadron of f35b
