  1. greggs was never a viable business. it was a front for carousel financing, and the increase in commercial borrowing rates has put them in the red.

  2. carousel financing is when corporations borrow to expand, but then use the money to instead speculate on markets, and then put the profits through the companies books, which also makes that corporations shares rise. it all depends on artificially low rates.
