  1. The strange thing is they feed with the most outrageous lies their own public as well and they are very successful in it. In communist Czechoslovakia we all knew all the media were basically full of propaganda and lies, even the communist party members themselves didn't believe it. It was just a part of the psychological terror - look how mighty we are, we can say and write the most obvious lies and you can just shut up. (or you get to prison) It all ended almost overnight in 1989. So it blows my mind why is this so alive in Russia to this day and why such a big part of Russian public is responsive to the most evident demagogy and lies..
