No one deserves to be alone, but after seeing what humanity has turned into after 2020, I refuse to make connections with people who thought it was legitimate to answer a pole asking if “people like me” should be ostracized from society and fired from our jobs. Which I then was. So I’m alone by choice. I’ve seen holocaust survivors banned from the holocaust day memorial ceremony because they refused to be someone’s experiment again. Never again means something to me.
