  8. It is my understanding that if captured during the last administration they were simply sent back . And that many just camped over the border waiting for the next opportunity. All that was to me was ignoring the problem. Hoping it would go away. Now we have 4 plus yrs of immigrants seeking asylum all at once.

I feel to many are being victimized by opinion broadcasts We are similar in age and remember fondly simply watching local news at 6:00, national news at 6:30.   22.  @Andy-AJC72  unfortunately that wasnt happening. Many of them were camped out just over the border. It is why so many are crossing now. This should have been handled differently. Biden was warned this could happen. More time to prepare would have eased the congestion. Media is jumping all over it as they should. Sending FEMA down along with border patrol and local law enforcement should get a handle on it sooner than later. The part of it that does bother me is this isnt new. If you take the time to research the numbers illegal immigration on the southern border has been trending down for 20 yrs.
