Kaliningrad is populated with Russians and Russians are Russians and nothing like Europeans, they have their social heritage and there is no European country that would take Kaliningrad if given to them. First it needs new population, then the infrastructure needs to be totally rebuilt and updated and also there is no real economic gain. They produce nothing and all other countries around have harbors for trade. The only thing would be to get Russian military out but you still have to problem with Russians.

  11. There is no European country that wants to take over Kaliningrad. First of all it's populated by Russians, then there is no economic revenue, it will only cost money every year. Also all infrastructure have to be redone. The only way is to make it a demilitarized zone and let Russia keep their crap for themselves. This is the same reason that no country wants to conquer Russia because it's like taking an outhouse full of morons.

What if a European country take it out of their own supply knowing how desperately Ukraine needs it but they don't want to let the world know they took all their shells and especially not Russia. But on a serious note, you bet Ukraine will ask "where are these promised shells" if they don't show up and the countries chipping in will for sure not look like fools so you can bet the deal is done.
