  5. Well, you learn from history, that's a start. If you ever were a military officer you would know that as part of becoming ans officer you read history and especially military history. It was not about the civil war per se but what changed that war and it's highly relevant. And yes I'm an Army officer.

  7. Now let me ask you, where do you get your numbers from. You're a tool and I bet my left arm that he got more sources then you have and ever will have but let me give you one hint. In military based on history and experience there is a calculation for casualties, it's rated defending versus attacking, that further breaks down to geography, city, village, forest, fields, sea, air, land, you get the picture. For example urban areas always have the highest ratio for defending vs attacking, it can go up to as much as 6:1 for the defenders, Ukraine have mainly defended and Russia has mainly been on the attack. So I suggest that your do some studies on that before even getting into the discussion and yes these calculations are based on experience and history.

  8. The definition is, a method of offensive warfare designed to strike a swift, focused blow at an enemy using mobile, maneuverable forces, including armored tanks and air support. Goal to a quick victory, limiting the loss of soldiers and artillery etc. What they tried or actually somewhat did the first days in this full scale invasion hence the 72 hr plan to subdue Ukraine. That did not happen.
