so in other words, this bill would block children from making decisions about elective medical procedures that can adversely affect their lives until they are mature enough to make those decisions responsibly? kind of like having age restrictions on alcohol and smoking and buying guns and voting and signing contracts.

@margaretnicol3423 some people do, some people dont. look at how many kids in college switch majors because they decided they want to do something different, or havent even decided on a major yet, im not saying all of them, but there are some.

@margaretnicol3423 i gave an example of things people are unsure of in their lives even in their 20's, and its not some tiny thing like i cant figure out what i want to eat, but a life altering decision. i understand that those 2 are not the same, but both are significant and impact peoples lives. its not just a job, its a career, people dont go to college to get just a job, they go to college to learn a skill set for a chosen career, which in itself is very significant, you deflecting and trying to minimize it as "just a job" does not diminish its impact.

@margaretnicol3423 yes, because someone who majored in psychology can all of a sudden switch careers to be a brain surgeon or a mathematician or a quantum phusicist right? im giving an example of people we consider as adults who arent capable of deciding a life decision, and here you are trying to muddy the waters as if though you have a point. seriously.
