  1. the GOP is going through the same upheaval right now that the DNC went through during the 2016 election cycle when a lot of democrats turned against the party for their shenanigans with Sanders and Clinton.

  2.  @wvu05  everyone lies for their own reasons, and no matter who lies, the lies hurt us in different ways. GOP lies about tax cuts for the rich helping average Americans, the DNC lies about undocumented immigrants helping average Americans, the GOP lies about foreign wars helping people, the DNC lies about foreign wars helping people. the game goes on and on and on while average americans are hurt by those lies. both the DNC and the GOP have taken turns being in power over the decades, and over the decades we have had the value of our dollars eroded to the point that both parents in a home have to work just to maintain a household and we have had constant endless wars no matter who is in power. perfect example, the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer, that has never changed, no matter who was in power.
