On January 6, both Ben and Dave miss the point of why the Left said we were 1 hour away from overthrowing the gov't: It's because that's how close Progressives are to doing that. These people don't believe in democracy and freedom. Everything is Projection with Progressives.

@sthubbins4038 Your answer lacks imagination. That's sad. Leftists reacted as they did because their internal motives were to fascism, so they assumed the Republicans had similar motives. That's why leftists misinterpreted it as a takeover of government. Reminds me of a cat: Cat story: I once had a cat named "Mao"...I called him Mousey Tung. I tried to train Mao to not hop on the counter, as he left dirty kitty paw prints behind. I would come home to find paw prints on the counter. Mao was smart enough to understand he should not jump on the counter when I was home, but not smart enough to figure out that I was smarter than him and would figure out what he did. StHubbins?
