Why would the Trump camp have ever agreed to Wallace being the moderator. I watch his weekly show on Fox News. He is clearly strongly biased toward the left. Doesn't even make an attempt to hide it.

I did look at the video, it certainly looks convincing.

@Aus Qld Goldy And Trump's team should have refused him, or at a minimum made a big noise about his lack of independence before the debate. If you watch his weekly show (Sunday in the US, Monday morning Australia) it's painfully obvious he his totally biased toward the left of politics. So much so its often hard to watch the show. Any so called 'independent group' that put him forward as an unbiased commentator is not 'independent'. They are setting Trump up. WTF are his advisers doing, or perhaps Trump does need to listen to others.

Biden. And I'm a ump supporter. On that performance he has just thrown an election win down the drain.

Biden was the winner, and Trump a massive looser. And I'm a Trump supporter. The expectation for Biden was so low, he significantly exceeded it. Clearly he was 'juiced' up so much his eyeballs were nearly popping out his head. Trump to win had to address one of his biggest weaknesses with undecided voters, that he isn't 'presidential' enough. On that count he failed miserably. Trump was clearly unprepared and thought he could just 'wing it'. Massive mistake. Take for example the biased question ..."will you denounce white supremists?". He should have know that would be asked, and had a slick answer prepared. All he had to say was I stand by my original statement at the time, denouncing BOTH the violent radical left and right. Instead he just went of to attack the violent left. Hugh mistake, totally unprepared. What's the predictable headline post debate "Trump fails to denounce white supremists". I expect there will also be no more debates, another win for Biden. Nancy will be shouting from the roof tops "see I told you so, not worth talking to".

@Aus Qld Goldy Why did it have to be a Fox presenter? Surely there is at least one highly regarded and truly independent person to conduct a debate in the USA that would have been acceptable to all parties.

Sorry, trying to be aggressive was Trumps biggest mistake. A major weakness for him (doesn't matter if its true or not) is he is perceived by many as not being 'Presidential'. That performance just reinforced this belief to those people.

@androsc1418 Biden may now well win the election. The big looser will be the USA, and in turn the rest of the Western World. The 'Hawks' at the Pentagon and State Department must be rubbing their hands at the prospect of a brain dead President so they can get back to creating conflicts all over the globe, killing American's sons and daughters, and getting rich from America's 'war machine' kickbacks.

@iggyblitz8739 Well I'll stick my neck out and say there won't be any more debates. Nancy was already sowing the seeds of no debates because Donald was 'unedifying'. They'll use this as the reason saying 'look we told you so, they serve no useful purpose', and quit while they are ahead. Trump needs a massive kick up the arse for that performance. Silly, silly boy Donald.

@iggyblitz8739 Only the faithful rusted on voters go to campaign rallies. There were a reported 100 million people watching the 'debate' on TV, they are the target audience. Swinging and undecided voters. It was just an undisciplined shouting match which I don't have a doubt was the intended strategy of the Biden camp. Made Donald look like a 'loose canon'. He walked right into the trap. He may not be a professional politician, but even in business your gotta "know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away".

@androsc1418 Sorry, watching it once was enough for me. You're looking at it as a rusted on voter wanting to find support for your already held view. Put yourself in the shoes of a potential but undecided voter who has virtually no interest in politics, doesn't understand background issues, and has no idea what is fact or fiction. Now you watch it again in that frame of mind.

@iggyblitz8739 The way I look at it is ..... no one with half a brain would vote FOR Biden. A person with declining mental capacity, corrupt family while in office previously, just a mediocre career politician who will say or do anything. Apart from rusted on Democrats 'support' is not for him, it is against Donald Trump. So what did Donald do in the debate to convince those against him (which is surely mostly personality related) to change their mind and switch to support him? I say nothing, he actually just galvanized their dislike for him further.

@sklyn6468 A percentage difference swing of 1 or 2% can be enough to make the difference between winning and loosing. With a reported 100 million viewers (I'll bet a LOT just turned it off, I even did at one stage it was so punishing to watch) that's a massive missed opportunity. It may have been entertaining to the base, but that surely wasn't the target audience.
