  1. There is a considerable difference between Andrew Thorburn and Haneen Zreika. Haneen was a player in a woman's football team. Andrew Thorburn was competing for the prized prestigious position of CEO of the Essendon Football Club. He would have dozens of enemies who would be using every means possible to bring him down. It's just media spin to make this issue about Christianity. It's simply about dirty organisational politics.
