Only one problem with your 'theory'. The voice had wide support when people didn't really understand it. But as they did come to understand it support has plummeted. A majority of people do now understand its goals (national treaty, reparations, sovereign indigenous nations) and its ability to function as an unelected activist House of Lords on any legislation or public service decision it sees fit, with the backing of the High Court. Now you understand why the majority of people are anticipated to vote NO!

@mikem9001 Actually anyone who says what 'the Voice' actually is, is either clueless or lying. I follow discussions by the 'yes' crew pretty closely (waiting for someone to say how it will really help remote communities, still waiting) and there isn't even agreement among the main players, and people like Noel Pearson change their story as often as the direct of the wind is blowing. One day its a modest proposal, the next its really a 'doorway to Treaty and Reparations' (Pearson's own words). The volume of misinformation and disinformation on the YES side is staggering.

@Satronaut-pw3ij The 'anti Rupert' rant is SO YESTERDAY. Go find a new hobby horse Kevin (or is it Malcolm). Actually, the alternate SkyNews Channel 603? (owned by Murdoch) IS by far the most informative source on 'the voice' presenting 24/7 coverage equally between yes and no advocates. Sorry, you just made yourself look a complete fool.

Obviously Lidia is obviously suffering relevance deprivation at the moment. From her past behaviour most people will view this as just her latest stunt to attract attention.

@05rosebud I'd like someone to even define what a 'neo nazi' is. Who is in an organisation that emulates the German Nazi Party. To me its just a childish slur directed by the left toward ultra conservatives.

No such thing as a "Neo Nazi". Purely a figment of imagination of the left-wing media. What people are followers of the Hitler movement, other than a few paid actors enlisted by Dan Andrews to turn up at a Moira Deeming rally.

@redhammer9910 You make some excellent points. Unfortunately a bit long which will deter the Twitter generation from reading it. If I was to sum it up, its in your statement: " In fact the way the Voices voting system is set up the remaining 40,000 Aborigine's have no chance of competing against the 930,000 people of or identifying as Aborigine. How is that fair to this ancient culture where the elders, lawmen and spirit men have no more say than a 10th generation white person living in Melbourne who has never met a Tribesmen in their life ?"
