@SuperEdge67 How do you know what the consensus IS among climate scientists? Have you gone and spoken to all of them, or did you just rely on The Guardian or some other equally dodgy source telling you that? You do realize the "97%" number bandied around is a complete beat-up, and the IPCC is a highly political and biased organisation designed to promote climate-change rather than report accurately on the situation. Anyone not toeing the message has long ago been booted out of the IPCC. Anyone who actually says there is a consensus among scientists is actually the one who knows very little about the subject. On a subject where climate scientists actually know relatively little of what drives the climate (a MASSIVELY complex phenomena), they still have our 'trainer wheels on', they don't agree on much, and are constantly disputing most, just as good science should.
