  2. I'm slowly coming around to the idea that the longer your ancestors have been in Australia the greater you rights as a citizen should be. Mine have been here since just behind the first fleet, so that should infer special rights for me over just about every other European or Asian person in this country. Yes, I can see merit in this idea.

  3. Rachael Perkins is just another person from the 'yes' campaign who is actually promoting the NO vote. At no time during this interview was she able to provide even the slightest idea how the voice may work in practice, or how it may address problems in remote aboriginal communities. It was all just, trust me and don't worry about that sort of stuff. Rachael, perhaps you're not old enough to remember when Bob Hawke famously promised in 1987..."'by 1990, no Australian child will be living in poverty". How did that, just trust me and don't worry about the detail work out?
