  1. I haven't a clue what important legal matters she influenced. All I know is that someone aged 87 and in very poor health for some considerable time as I understand it, who continued to occupy a critical public office is either (a) extremely selfish not being abler to face retirement, or (b) extremely arrogant, believing no other person could fill the roll as equally well or even better than themselves. Australia is certainly on the right path with our constitution requiring High Court Judges to retire at 70 years of age.
