  2.  @gibbonsdp  And at the current 36% the cost of electricity has become unaffordable for the average household, the last of Australian manufacturing has become nearly unviable, and blackouts are predicted to occur as soon as this coming summer. Thank you for supporting my point

  3. Whether or not the Nationals support renewables is NOT the issue. The issue is signing up to Net-Zero 2050. How about some principals and science guys. The very idea of ever achieving 'net-zero' is a total nonsense, well not unless we intend returning to living like stone age man. Even then I doubt cave men actually lived a 'net-zero' carbon emissions lifestyle. What did they do to offset their wood fires??? Don't think they were propagating and planting additional trees. Just because the rest of the world (other than China and India) is prepared to engage itself in this foolish charade, is no reason for Australia to also make an ass of itself.
