@satishchandraGK I'd prefer it if Kerry Chant struct strictly to politics, she knows VERY little about public health policy.

You didn't get it quite right Andrew. Struggling families crammed into tiny units in 'LGAs of concern' will only be allowed 1 hour together in a local park, IF all people in the family over 16 are FULLY vaccinated. These scumbags are quite happy to keep families crowed into tiny living arrangement, virtually climbing the walls to force them to get vaccinated. If there is one thing that must change after this thing is finally over, the laws must be changes so that never again does one single person with so little intellect and ability as Kerry Chant have the authority to control of lives of so many.

There actually is a very good reason to explain increasing case number with increasing vaccination rates. Before vaccines were available large sections of the community were naturally cautious, social distancing, washing their hands etc, etc. This natural behavior limits cases. As vaccination rates rise people become complacent thinking they are 'fully protected', can't catch the virus, so mix freely in society, family etc. Only one problem, the vaccine hasn't actually stopped them getting the virus. All it has done is turned them into asymptomatic carriers who will never get tested, and so isolate. The virus gets spread widely through the community by millions of vaccinated asymptomatic carriers. Ironically the strongest case for getting vaccinated, is to protect yourself from other vaccinated people. Catch 22.

@hankbrukowski7343 I'm not sure any of the vaccine manufacturers EVER claimed it altered transmission rates, its my understanding this wan't even considered in their clinical trials. And they would have been reluctant to just assume it would, as people who have had Influenza vaccinations still get and transmit the Influenza virus. It would have been reasonable it assume it most likely wouldn't stop transmission. The only people who have run around telling people it materially alters 'spread' are vested interests wanting to vaccine the whole population, the majority at very low risk from covid. It's really the only 'selling point' to vaccinate young health people, and I agree it doesn't stop spread.

@hankbrukowski7343 You're an idiot. There is probably no more vocal person on social media than myself saying current generation covid vaccines do not stop transmission (spread).

I'm actually very disappointed Gladys didn't get her way and allow Eastern Suburbs and North Shore hairdressers to open up for locals. If you wanted to REALLY piss off the working class people stuck near permanently in small homes and tiny units across great swathes of SW Sydney, I couldn't think of any better way.
