  1. Was his role as CEO really "heavily criticized"? Other than the clown Andrew's comments I haven't seen anyone else prepared to step forward and criticize the appointment. I think most likely it was an internal hatchet job, by forces within the club who didn't want him as CEO over their preferred candidate. Football clubs are FULL of internal politics. They are the people most likely to have spent weeks trolling through all his history (more likely paid someone) trying to find some perceived 'dirt'. The speed upon which the Chairman acted leads me to believe he was likely involved.
