  1. As if we haven't already 'mortgaged' our future enough by massive government debt (debt is just spending money before you have earned it) this genius reckons the solution is even more debt. I won't thrust ANYTHING that comes out of the 'Big 4' accounting firms. Most dishonest and sleazy organisations I've ever had the misfortune to come in contact with.

  2. They could start by cutting the public service by 1/3 and reducing income tax accordingly. Anyone who thinks the public service couldn't be cut by 1/3 and still deliver the same service has never worked in the public service. If anything productivity would go up, when all the deadwood and duplication is reduced. And a 'voluntary redundancy' is the greatest scam going. You reduce your workforce by getting rid of under performers and redundant/inefficient processes, just like the private sector does.
