  1. At this same time last year, 430 deaths had been reported due to Influenza across Australia. The true number will be significantly higher when associated causes of death such as Influenza induced viral pneumonia are combined. So far this year only 36 deaths due to Influenza have been reported. Seems the Influenza virus is scared by his cousin Covid-19, and has also gone into self-isolation.
