Even when company tax rates are increased, who do people think bears that transfer of wealth to the government? Is it the high paid senior executives? No zero effect. It is the shareholders with reduced dividends and lower share prices. Who are the bulk of shareholders, ordinary folk with their retirement money invested directly in the share market, or via a retirement fund.

@Knappa22 Money and wealth can be simply moved anywhere in the world by the truly wealth. The aspirational middle class are the people who pay the vast majority of personal tax all over the globe.
