I only wish what you say were true, that the "Morrison government has no interest in addressing climate change". If only it were true there may still be hope for the place, but I think that's just wishful thinking. They will just drift to the left to win the votes of the sheep who are not smart enough to actually think for themselves.

@ianenglish123 Don't disagree with much of what you say. Don't underestimate the wealth generated from the massive North Sea oil and gas reserves of some so called 'socialist' countries like Norway. The main point I would disagree is your assertion this is all due to the Murdoch press. That puts you in like company with Kevin Rudd and Malcolm Turnbull. Is that really the sort of people you want to be associated with as thinking like yourself? I certainly wouldn't. The reality is hardly anyone reads a newspaper these days, and young people don't watch TV. The new media barons are those that control Facebook, Twitter, and even this very YouTube. It's no longer the 1960's P.S. Your down on Rupert, but what other social media platform lets you criticize the sponsor of the channel, as you have just done. The ABC, Guardian etc don't even allow comments, that's how biased and controlling of their narrative they are.

@ianenglish123 We'll have to disagree on this one. I think SkyNews, FoxNews, and The Australian newspaper are FAR more objective than their left wing biased counterparts eg. CNN, the ABC, Nine media. I was watching the BBC this morning giving a so called summary of the George Floyd trial, key facts etc. Had this been the only source of information someone had, they would have been badly missing many key facts. And those omissions were obviously quite deliberate. Even if you don't agree on the objectivity point, its important that people get a range of views on any contentious subject. There are always multiple angles to any story, and it is important to be aware of them and try to understand them from the other persons perspective. That is perhaps the most important thing I've leaned in 68 years, and that is there is very little 'black and white' in life, only grays. Where you are 'positioned' at any given time can make a world of difference to how you view an issue, with each view just as correct in the eyes of the observer.

Australia has no more useful sunshine and land than many parts of the world. Solar panels actually loose efficiency as the temperature rises about the optimum temperate of around 25C.

Australia is NOT making plans and policies based upon its own unique circumstances. If it were we'd be a world leader in high efficiency coal power stations and nuclear energy.
