Early work shows potential to reduce methane from farting by up to 18% using food additives, but only viable in lot feed and dairy herds as unless strictly controlled can be very determental to the animal. Source: WA Agricultural Dept. So basically the possibility of a small decrease in only a VERY tiny percentage on the Australia cattle herd. Just read the 'climate change' policy on the National Farmers Federation website. NO mention of a commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. If fact it is pretty much the complete opposite, a very conservative policy largely pushing back against ANY climate policy that would increase costs or be determental to farmers. As with most things to do with 'climate change', the facts are never put in the way of a good bit of virtue signalling.
