  1. Why are new special police powers needed to arrest people deliberately blocking a road? Surely deliberately blocking a 'carriage way' has been illegal for at least the last 500 years. P.S. Seems I've found my own answer. The UK's supreme court has rules protesting climate change is a lawful excuse to block a road. There is the problem, the woke unelected judiciary.
