  1. While climate and weather are different things, this again demonstrates just how little we actually know about how the planet works. Regarding the two major drivers of Australia's weather, we don't even know what drives ENSO cycles, and the IOD was only discovered a little over 20 years ago, by Japanese scientists. It is pure fantasy when 'scientists' (term used loosely) claim to be able predict the climate in 100 years time.
