  1. Dutton did not give "a solemn promise that he would support a second referendum being held". That is just more Albanese gaslighting. I was watching the interview on live TV when Dutton sort of fell into the mistake of saying he would at some time in the future in response to be literally pushed to that statement by the interviewer. It was little more than a lack of a disciplined response, far short of a well thought out "solemn promise". Regardless, this bit of pure tokenism (inclusion of aboriginal people in the preamble to the Constitution) helps disadvantaged aboriginal people about as much as the Rudd apology. It does NOTHING!
