There is NO scientific evidence linking El Nino events (frequency or severity) with CO2 emissions, in any way. Directly or indirectly, none. FFS, while they know what happens during an El Nino event, they don't even know what drives the cycle, let alone what the future trend may be. Sorry Sky News, total Fake News. You are becoming as bad as the ABC. Perhaps its mostly the influence of Peter Stefanovic. Why you employ this lightweight and rather boring presenter is totally lost one me. The world was a better place when both he and his moronic brother were unemployed.

And why don't you report the claim that September was the 'hottest on record' was made by an EU funded climate change promoting organisation, the Copernicus Climate Change Service. And you just totally made up that this indicates a future trend when even the climate change promoting organisation that made the claim clearly stated ........Samantha Burgess, deputy director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service, told BBC News: "Some of these events are extraordinary – although we mustn't create a false expectation that temperatures will go up year on year."
