And just exactly how does the microplastic get taken up by the plant through its roots and deposited in the plant or fruit? No mention of this so I remain skeptical that they can enter the food chain and in turn into our body. As I don't buy 'organic' produce I don't have to worry. The stuff I eat is grown with good old fashioned chemical fertilizers.
