  1. Just why is a significant percentage of 'young Australians' on prescription medicine?? Perhaps its because they have NEVER bought fresh food and live on a diet of junk food. That's the reason they are morbidly obese with type 2 diabetes (even if they don't know it yet). Fresh food is vastly cheaper than processed junk in packets and cans that is chock full of sugar, salt, chemicals, and trans fats. People just need to be selective and creative with what they purchase eg. carrots, sweet potato, chicken drumsticks, etc. All still dirt cheap.

  2.  @IcanBePsycho  Exactly what I was going to say. Selective fresh food is VASTLY cheaper than junk fast 'food'. Most of it shouldn't even quality as 'food'. It's just unhealthy 'fill'.
