  1. I wonder if there is any video footage to confirm it actually was a whale. There is a couple REALLY dangerous bommies and an extensive reef system right near Cape Banks that can bring an unsuspecting boatie to grief. All are completely hidden and only evident when the larger sets in the swell break onto them. So dangerous boaties should give this whole Northern side of the entrance to Botany Bay a VERY wide berth.
