Net zero carbon emissions, what a joke. Just take plastics manufacture, which are made primarily from petroleum and natural gas. Plastics are everywhere, and becoming more and more common. A modern motorcar is made of a mountain of plastic. As fuel emission targets rise, so does the amount of plastic used in order to reduce weight. OK, maybe we can in time use carbon fiber if the price of the stuff falls??? Oh, its also made from fossil fuels. What about greater use of aluminium??? Aluminium is little other than solidified electricity.

The people that Scott Morrison thinks will vote for him because he turns 'green' will NOT. They'll just see it as an admission he was wrong, and all the more reason to vote Labor/Greens. It's like all the Labor people who liked Malcolm Turnbull. They liked him, but they were never going to vote for him while he was in the Liberal Party. When you try to be all things to all people, all you achieve is being nothing to anyone.
