Don't let facts get in way of a good story Sky News. Brazil currently 30 deaths per million people, Spain 531, Italy 467, UK 405. Why wouldn't the report have been about Peru which currently has a higher death rate than Brazil??? Or Ecuador which currently has a death rate twice that of Brazil? Let me guess, Brazil has a right wing leader.

@therealdjt532 The media are constantly focusing on any statistic that can hype up the situation. I read somewhere, the main issue with Covid-19 is the it is the first internet virus. The dreaded 'second wave' of infections in Singapore is a classic example. There was a group previously not being tested (foreign workers), so they test them and find quite a high number of little to no symptom cases (probably been circulations around this group for weeks) and report it over a couple days. Graph spikes up. The media headlines and politicians say 'look what happens when you life restrictions'. Nothing actually changed and Singapore's deaths/million is still one of the lowest in the world at 3 per million.

@Joel N You know why the ship wan't needed as much as necessary. They pushed virus infected patients out of the hospitals to make space and put them in aged care homes. That'd right, deliberately put covid-19 infected patients into age care homes, the most vulnerable segment possible, just so they could make a political point they had everything under control and Trumps help wan't needed. I didn't believe it when I first heard it, but it is true. People should go to jail for doing something like that, surely must qualify as criminal negligence.
