You may have seen the Police Commissions explanation of why no was arrested at the BLM protest. The police saw the BLM protesters as potentially violent, so didn't want to start a conflict. See that's the REAL problem and why the lockdown protesters are getting arrested, because they are peaceful.

The irony is the real criminal is the Assistant Police Commissioner Luke Cornelius (the foul mouthed fat bloke). He is up to his neck in the Nicola Gobba (Lawyer X) scandal and should be charged with perverting the course of justice and jailed. Will he, probably not due to his faithful service to his master Chairman Dan.

@bigdaddytizzle1 Even if the excuse were the reason, which I agree is just BS, in effect the police are saying they rewarded BLM protesters and gave them free passage, even assisting, for being potentially violent.

@slashharkiri4581 Your 'explanation' of who BLM protesters were not only given a free pass by the Victorian Premier and police, let alone actually praised for their concern over overseas events (which were in reality nothing other than the political actions of a marxist organisation) has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. The general public's understanding of the serious or otherwise of Covid-19 has increased with time, and they generally now know it is nothing significant for the general population, only the very vulnerable with highly compromised immune systems. As such there is LESS concern now than there was at the time of the BLM protests. People who continue to run the 'doom and gloom' line are doing it not for health reasons, but for political reasons. The same people will do it for bushfires, climate change, or any other natural or man made event they can get hole of and spin to support their political agenda. They have zero concern as to the 'collateral damage' they inflict on the poor and innocent.
