Comments by "John Woodrow" (@johnwoodrow8769) on "Governments 'massively overreacted' to COVID-19 crisis" video.
I just read that in Italy someone who died, non matter the reason, because they couldn't get into a hospital because it was full of Covid-19 patients was also counted as a Covid-19 death. They may have died regardless if they had got into a hospital, its total nonsense to just assume they would have survived. People die in hospitals. So basically if the hospitals were busy (which all hospitals always are) and you died, it was counted as a Covid-19 deaths. No wonder Italy's death count is high.

What a pile of nonsense. All the low numbers prove is the the computer projections were just made up crap. What countries have experienced problems when the stupid over the top lock downs have been relaxed? The answer I expect is Singapore. It has had a total of 21 deaths, mostly very elderly residents, one of the lowest number of recorded deaths in the world. But don't let facts get in the way of your left wing driven desire to keep the global economy on its knees in the hope of a new world order. But I must admit I have to take my hat off to your socialist mates who run the public health systems. They were able to bring the economy to its knees way more effectively than their brothers in arms climate change scientists.

@Chris-ei5fz Based upon your response, which I don't understand a word of, I think it's you who may have a drug problem.

@Chris-ei5fz Just as I expected, a climate change nut who enjoys the misery of others being out of work.

@Chris-ei5fz There are no shortage of people, seeing including yourself, who delight in smashing the economy to bring about a 'new world order' i.e. socialism. They just happen to include the most senior people of our state and national public health departments. Weak and intellectually feeble state and federal politicians, cheered on by left-wing media, invited them to take over the running of the show, and as they say, the rest is history.

Excellent article on page 2 of today's The Australian by Adam Creighton titled 'Hollow rhetoric missed opportunity'. To his credit Adam has from day 1 been critical of smashing the economy. For those who don't buy The Australian, a few extracts of Adams excellent article...... "The near-total lack of content in Josh Frydenberg's budget update on Tuesday only drew attention to the hollowness of the governments rhetoric on the 'values and principals' that apparently guide the Coalition." "The Government either hasn't asked Treasury how large the biggest deficit since WWII is likely to be, or doesn't want to tell us". "Encouraging personal responsibility and maximizing personal choice sits oddly with mandatory lockdowns and shutting thousands of business for six weeks. Rewarding effort and risk taking doesn't gel with unleashing the biggest fiscal stimulus in the world and putting more than half the workforce on government welfare for six months". "Lets be frank, the past six weeks have killed for good the idea that we're a nation of buccaneering larrikins. We must be the most risk-adverse people in the world. Caution is laudable, but delusion is not".
