@chrisdovrik2894 Irrelevant. The Federal Government has next to zero responsibility for bush fire management. Bush fire management is 100% a State responsibility. Health is primarily the responsibility of the State Government also.

@beesplaining1882 Is your imagined 'pandemic' the only matter of concern in NSW that Gladys should be focusing on? What about getting people back to work and off social security (which is all Job Keeper is). What about mental health issues which it is a fact dramatically increase when 'fragile' individuals have excessive time on their hands. I could write pages of competing issues. When a VERY small number of people who have tested positive (no information on how many any are even showing symptoms) are balanced against the EXTENSIVE list of opposed competing issues, Glayds and her stupid Chief Health Officer are showing themselves to be way out of their depth.

@beesplaining1882 Do you personally know anyone who has died, or even tested positive to covid 19? Include friends of friends in that circle, neighbors, relatives, and work colleagues. I'll bet the answer is NO! 50% of Europe died in The Bubonic Plague, 15000 Australian's died in the Spanish Flu (which would be say 75,000 in today's population), around 4000 Australians die each and EVERY year from Influenza and its complications e.g. viral phenomena. Your 'imagined' covid pandemic in Australia isn't even a quarter of the number of deaths of seasonal Influenza.

@beesplaining1882 And another bit of solid science for you to evaluate your 'imagined pandemic' against. Singapore has had around 60,000 people test positive to covid-19. Out of those 60 thousand positive cases a grand total of 28 people have died. That is a death rate of 0.05%, and even that will be overstated as some positive cases will not have been reported. And if you state Singapore fudges numbers, than that will just show you know as much about Singapore as you do covid. No government on earth is so pedantic, rules based, and free of fraud and political interference as that of Singapore. I know this from extensive first hand experience.

And remember folks, those now forcing people in Sydney to wear masks are the VERY same people who only a few months ago were responsible for people being harassed (even given $1,000 fines) for simply sitting on the grass in a park, well away from anyone else. Clueless clowns.
