Chris Kenny perplexed why there hadn't been more pushback again the extremes of government. Well it did happen quietly, but in high profile areas who was going to argue with a bunch of thugs armed with guns and tazers, handing out $1000 fines. That's why there wasn't much high profile public pushback, heavy handed government. FFS in the early days the NSW police commissioner was at every daily press conference threatening the citizens. And then they even had the cheek to 'thank you for your cooperation' and talking down to you like you were a school child for being 'good'. Rewarded you with an 'early mark'.

About all we can do is comment on videos, and publicly go about our business in as normal a manner as possible. Still doesn't help me feel for the owners and workers at the small section of society still forced to be closed for nothing other than some butt covering exercise by unelected bureaucrats and grandstanding politicians. At least the politicians will eventually come to understand 'today's rooster is tomorrow's feather duster' after the next elections.

@nothere9551 I watch a fair bit of international news (mostly UK and US) and the same debates are taking place everywhere. And its clear there is zero science behind all this, just bureaucrats making it up as they go, seemingly just to keep themselves relevant and important. Like a barber shop was a dangerous place in the US and were forced to close, but am essential service in Australia so remained open. Is the virus different between the US and Australia? How many people world wide caught Covid-19 at a barber shop? Probably no one.
