Comments by "John Woodrow" (@johnwoodrow8769) on "Biden’s comments on fracking and the oil industry a ‘disaster’ for Democrats" video.
The idea that people who work in the fossil fuel industry (and the towns and economies upon which rely on that income) can simply be 'retrained' is a totally naive concept floated by left wing socialists who generally have only every worked for the government and never had a real job in their life. It's actual a lie just to gloss over a real serious problem. Close a gas field or coal mine, and the result is significant long term unemployment (many will never work again in their life if over say 45) and near complete economic collapse on the community it supports. Fracking is the reason the US has been able to reduce its CO2 emissions just about more than any country on the planet.

@DenizB112 If you aren't aware the US is one of the few countries to have reduced its CO2 emissions in recent years, virtually all due to moving away from coal fired electricity generation to natural gas from then you actually no nothing about the subject. You also know nothing about hard hard it is for a person over about 45 to get a new job even in something they may have worked all their life, let alone as a day 1 new trainee. Stick to what you know, playing computer games in your parents basement.

@DenizB112 If you trained a 57 year old in data analytics heaven forbid. You need to go get some training yourself if you can't find anything on the internet regarding the US being the country that has reduced its CO2 emissions more than ANY other country in the world in recent years, due to natural gas displacing coal for electricity generation ..... https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=43615#:~:text=U.S.%20energy%2Drelated%20carbon%20dioxide%20(CO2)%20emissions%20declined%20by,in%20the%20past%20five%20years. https://insideclimatenews.org/news/07012020/infographic-united-states-emissions-2019-climate-change-greenhouse-gas-coal-transportation

@DenizB112 Your now just talking total crap, typical of most left wing climate extremists. You asked what benefit there was in fracking and I told you. It has allowed the US to reduced its CO2 emissions more than any other country in the world by facilitating the transition from coal to natural gas for electricity generation. That is an indisputable FACT. You also made the statement about workers in the oil and gas industry could simply be 'retrained' into jobs in the renewables industry. That is simply a naive statement made by the uneducated, and a complete lie by those who know better. The idea that 40+ year old dump truck driver in a coal mine will be retrained in electronics, and whole families and townships relocate hundreds even thousands of miles away to where the work has moved is simply fanciful. The extreme left routinely talk about the 'millions of new jobs' a complete transition to renewables will create, without EVER describing what sort of jobs in even a half vague description. They can't because a manufacturing sector not underpinned with significant base load electric power generated by either coal, gas, nuclear, or hydro-electric is totally nonviable. The wind doesn't always blow, and the sun doesn't always shine. These are just some of the reasons so many people are fearful of what will happen if the manipulative people responsible for promoting the nonsense you seem to have swallowed every got control.

The world should take notice of Job Biden. He's obviously a very smart man, coming near the top of his class at university, given the political science medal, and earning 3 degrees.
