  1. Good to see that Albo has assured the Japanese PM that Australia will guarantee his country cheap and reliable fossil fuels to power the Japanese economy. Pity Albo won't make the same commitment for our domestic economy.

  2. @Pete The Japanese aren't stupid. They know full well they cannot sustain their modern highly industrialised nation without fossil fuels, and cheap dependable energy. That is why they currently operate 164 coal fired power stations, with another 8 under construction. LPG exports are also an ESSENTIAL component in their industrial processes, everything from plastics manufacture to industrial heating. Australia on the other hand is rushing head long back to the Stone Age.
