This problem is easily solved. Just withdraw from UNESCO. What does Australia even get out belonging to such a political organisation??? Nothing that I can see.

IF there really is a problem with the reef caused by CO2 emissions, the countries to go lecture are China, India, and the USA. Australia's 1.4% of global CO2 emissions have ZERO impact on the reef. ZERO!

@benjaminfalzon4622 Close, COTS is rated number 2 danger. Tropical cyclones do more damage to the reef that just about every other risk combined. Despite all the predictions of the 'climate change' industry (and it is an industry) of increasing cyclone activity it has actually done the complete opposite over the past 40 years.

@benjaminfalzon4622 The best climate change line is 'the science is settled'. Besides its not, we actually know relatively VERY little about major aspects that affect climate eg. ocean currents, the sun, etc. Not only do climate change advocate scientist disagree on just about everything, try being a young scientist or academic and publish a paper disputing key aspect of man-made climate change. You should expect to not only loose your job, but never work in your chosen field again for the rest of your life. 'Settled' doesn't mean agreed, it means all dissenting opinion has been crushed. That's the reality of 'climate science'.

@benjaminfalzon4622 A good person to follow for an objective assessment of the state of climate change science is Judith Curry. No one can dispute her qualifications (but doesn't stop the climate change nutters still trying to personally 'cancel' her). Her website judithcurry.com can be very technical (she is a technical person) at time, but still a lot of good material. There used to be an excellent YouTube video of a presentation she gave to a conference explaining in simple terms the two different scientific sides to the debate. It unfortunately got taken down.... 'cancelled'. P.S. For the Barrier Reef, Peter Ridd does know his stuff. He may lack academic 'tact' which is what got him into trouble, but he certainly is qualified to comment, and is easy to read and understand.

@djinghiskhan9199 Is that the most intelligent thing you can say? Probably.

@djinghiskhan9199 The only think your communicated is your a half-wit troll with NOTHING to say. Typical of most keyboard climate change warriors.
