People probably aren't aware that the overwhelming majority of solar power going into the grid does not come from solar farms (utility-scale). It actually comes from home rooftops (distributed PV).

@hanswallner2188 Horse dung. Germany has the HIGHEST ELECTRICITY PRICES IN THE WORLD. About 50% of its electricity supply comes from sources other than wind or solar. It imports massive amounts of electricity from other European countries including Czechia ($2.42B), Denmark ($2.41B), Netherlands ($2.27B), Austria ($1.43B), and Norway ($1.32B). Czechia produces most of its electricity from nuclear, coal, and gas. Germany is currently reopening black coal power stations, and considering opening its brown coal plants (the dirtiest form of generation known to mankind).
