  1. The only reason state premiers have gone off in their own direction is because weak Scott Morrison doesn't have the balls to challenge them for purely political reasons. He has always had the upper hand in financial and legal terms to pull them into line if he'd wanted. In the very early days a constitutional challenge to state border closures would likely have failed. But a TOTALLY different situation today.
