That's the name of the game, blame others for what's going wrong in one country, Brexiteers like to blame all the wrongs in the UK on the EU even thought most of what's wrong in the UK are down to UK national governments policies, Trump supporters are the same in the US, it's others faults and not their own, they always like to deflect blame away and not look in the mirror to where the real problem is.
On the plus side, the UK won't have that excuse after Brexit, that's when reality starts to come in that the UK government was the problem all along and the EU wasn't really much of an issue, even better because the Conservative government has a clear majority, so they can't deflect blame on the EU or on others like the Labour Party, basically, it's them that will have to own the mess that happens and throw in the mess they are making with the pandemic, well I suspect the next 5 years could be quite tough for many.

@markcolonna6874 Actually, that's not how democracy works, democracy is always a constant moving process, your version of democracy is that the vote is final regardless of what the public thinks of Brexit afterwords, polls for the last 2 years have consistently showed that the British people would vote to remain in the EU, does that sound like democracy to you? but then people like you idolize people like Trump who is quite happy to undermine democracy.
As for rejoining, we may do but the problem is that once we are out, good luck getting back in because it would only take one member to block us and I can think of a few that will, best chance for the UK to rejoin the EU once fully out will be for the separate countries of the UK like Scotland and Northern Ireland to leave the UK and rejoin the EU, I doubt EU members will have a problem with that but I highly doubt EU members will let the entire UK in the EU for decades now as we've always been the troublemakers in the EU, after all, many are glad to see us go.
If Brexit ends up leading to the break up of the UK union, Brexiteers are going to look mighty stupid, the term little Englander will actually have some real meaning then because lets be honest, Brexit is mostly an English thing, hence all the noise in Scotland and Northern Ireland on Brexit.

@markcolonna6874 The irony is that if you look at polls, they've been consistent that Brits want to remain in the EU for the last 2 years now as the lies of Brexit become more apparent to the British people, as for Brexit it's self, lets be honest with ourselves, it was sold on lies and it's been like that from the start, if the truth was told from the start, chances are, the British people would have voted the other way, hence why Brexiteers are bending over backwards to make sure another vote won't happen but that is risking the break up of the UK union.
As for the EU, since Brexit happened, support for the EU has been growing, not only that, no EU member actually wants to leave now and some that had ideas of leaving the Euro or EU are having second thoughts thanks to the mess the UK has got it's self in, that and some help from Trump.
