I think a lot of trust has been lost from Europeans on the US but that can get better in time if the EU and US work on it, I suspect relations will get better and mainly because of China, to contain them, the EU and US will have to work with each other and in the end, the EU and US have far more in common with each other than difference to break apart too much. All in all, Biden should be a good thing for both the US and EU but I don't think it's going to be the same as it was before Trump got into power. I also think the US will have to go on a diplomatic tour around many parts of the world to repair relations as Trump as damage that a lot, trust can be gained back and a good working relation can happen but this has to come from the US side not others.
