There IS a different way to live and it doesn't involve killing animals. As Paul McCartney said - If slaughterhouses had glass walls we'd all be vegetarian.

@paulround8501 Your choice. But the vast majority of people would not want to kill an animal to eat unless they were desperate so they are happy to let someone else do it for them and close their minds. I call that dishonest. And most of these people have pets and call themselves animal lovers. I do not believe there are two classes of animals - those you can eat and those you can't. Therefore, again, they are being dishonest and deceiving themselves to assuage their conscience. People DO know where food comes from but as I have said, they choose to close their minds. And it is not necessary to eat meat in order to have a healthy diet.

@paulround8501 As I said, some animals are more equal than others. It's a mental deceit. Cows can be just as playful as cats and dogs and pigs are more intelligent than either. I think you are wrong. Most people DO know how meat is processed. They just shut it out of their minds and carry on eating. Who said I expected everyone to have a vegan diet ? And we have evolved not to need meat if we so choose. And there vegan body builders out there so the vegans who get sick are doing something wrong.
